Are Every-6-Month Dentist Visits Necessary?

This article from the UK Guardian discusses the need for going to the dentist every 6 months.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/09/07/going-to-the-dentist-every-six-months-is-unnecessary-says-uks-to/

The article quotes the top dentist in the UK, who compares dentists to mechanics, and admonishes people to not blindly adhere to advice from their dentists. While we agree to that last part: no one should blindly adhere to advice from anyone necessarily, though letting this treatment wander on without a schedule that can be adhered to is a bad idea, we maintain.

Talk to your dentist about this issue, and come up with a plan that is right for your situation.
